Outdoor Life Group acquired 40% stake in Lasita Maja
Estonian log cabin producer Lasita Maja and Dutch Outdoor Life Group have joined forces to create a leading European log cabin supplier. By integrating production and sales, the group has a strong presence in about ten countries across Europe, selling log cabins, garden timber and other outdoor products.
With the addition of the strong brand name Lasita Maja, the acquisition completes Outdoor Life Group’s cabin proposition and enables to offer full range in element houses and log cabins. The assortment ranges from sheds, summerhouses, saunas, pavilions, garages and children playhouses to bespoke garden structures.
To solidify the co-operation, Outdoor Life Group has acquired 40% of the shares of Lasita Maja as a first step. Lasita Maja will continue its activities at its current location in Tartu under current management.
Outdoor Life Group is a subsidiary of N.V. Deli Maatschappij, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Deli Maatschappij, with revenues of EUR 700 million and more than 2,000 employees, is a leading supplier of timber, building and decorative products for home, garden and construction sector.
Lasita Maja, established in 1998, is one of the leading log cabin manufacturers in Estonia with over 200 employees and revenues of about EUR 20 million.
The seller and Lasita Maja were advised by financial adviser Nordic CF Advisory and Law Office Lillo & Lõhmus, while Outdoor Life Group was advised by PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisors and law firm LAWIN.
